Set on 55 acres (22 ha) on private land (no park or conservancy fees) between Nakuru and Gilgil, Sunbird Lodge is named after one of the more than 450 species of birds in this area. Beautifully nestled in a pristine environment above Lake Elementaita one can experience amazing sunsets.
Very small and exclusive - but still affordable - with 10 very spacious en-suite cottages and with a huge private veranda. All with a king size bed and an additional single bed, exquisitely built with natural materials and thatched roofs. Enjoy an unspoilt view over Lake Elementaita and Soysambu Conservancy. Probably the most scenic place to stay in the Nakuru area.
